FAIR TRADE JEWELLERY

What is fair trade?

Fair trade is an organized social movement and market-based approach that aims to help producers in developing countries and promote sustainability. The movement advocates the payment of a higher price to producers as well as social and environmental standards in areas related to the production of a wide variety of goods.

Why are Sundari Fair Traders?

Our jewellery is sourced from all over the world including countries such as India, Brazil, and Napal. Many of the communities we deal with are situated in 3rd world areas and as such we take our Fair Trade responsibilities very seriously when working with them.

All of the workers in the jewellery manufacturing and mining side of the supply chain all receive excellent working conditions and fair wages so we can feel safe in the knowledge that we are helping to raise these communities out of poverty.

You too can rest assured that when you wear some of our jewellery you are also helping to provide for these impoverished communities and contributing to their growing success.
